Tickets will be offered to 98 municipalities served by the interurban lines of the bus station located at the Terminal Antônio de Carvalho, in Avenida Bento Gonçalves, 6,670, Agronomia district, in the East Zone.
“By providing access to their families, we want to give dignity to these people who have already lost everything they had. We will guarantee safe transport to the city where they can be welcomed and no one will be left on the street” underlines the municipal secretary of Urban Mobility, Adam de Castro Junior.
The shelters will inform the possible destinations and identify those interested in interurban transport, compiling a list with identification data, the desired destination and the contact details of the person in charge of receiving them on site. The Transport Center verifies and confirms whether the transported object will actually be received at its destination according to the information provided.
The available date and time for these destinations will be provided. And at the appointed time, the center will provide transportation to take you and all your belongings to the bus terminal, where the bus driver will accompany you until you disembark, reunite with your family or the contact you provide.
Transportation Center – It is a logistics structure that works to meet requests for humanitarian aid, such as the free transfer of rescued citizens to registered shelters, as well as the delivery of supplies, food, water, among other emergency requests.
Created by the technical and inspection teams of the Municipal Secretariat for Urban Mobility (SMMU) and the Public Transport and Circulation Company (EPTC), the service is supported by the Passenger Transport Association (ATP), Carris, Cittamobi and Cittati.
