The rear of the motorcycle was injured and the driver of the HRV also had to be treated
A motorcycle ended up under a Honda HRV in the early afternoon of this Thursday (23) in the Bom Retiro neighborhood, in Curitiba. Witnesses suspect that the driver of the SUV, a 71-year-old woman, was ill behind the wheel before causing the accident. The rear of the motorcycle was injured and the driver of the HRV also had to be treated.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Teffé and Desembargador Hugo Simas streets. The report showed that traffic was blocked, the HRV arrived with everything, hit a parked Palio Weekend, hit a GWM ORA and stopped on top of the motorbike.
“I only felt a fall at the rear, I didn’t see what happened because I was facing forwards, but it was a strong fall. I didn’t see the dynamics of the accident because I was in front”
said Pedro Colaço, ORA driver.

The passenger of the motorbike was injured in the leg. Despite the dynamics of the accident, she did not suffer serious injuries, but she was still transported with some urgency to Cajuru hospital.
The elderly woman driving the Honda HRV had to be rescued. The suspicion is that she may have fallen ill while driving.
“I saw the woman on the ground, being helped by rescuers. We deduced that she felt ill, because if traffic is blocked, how do you know that you are about to hit the vehicles in front, right? And the lady was in very bad condition, she came out very badly based on what the rescuers said”
commented Luiz Carlos, witness to the accident.

The driver was taken to hospital and her condition is not known for certain. A team from the Military Police Road Battalion (BPTran) registered a report of the accident.
