Ambassador of the Fim da Cura project, Greg found in the initiative the opportunity to give a new meaning to the “pains” experienced during adolescence. “These are things that we carry on to this day, we end up fighting and treating ourselves to deny our will, our personality, our freedom to be,” he said in an interview with Earth now this Thursday the 23rd.
The artist says she was subjected to the trial at the end of her childhood when, as she herself says, “her childhood charisma became problematic”: “There I was already suspended from some lessons, they called my mother”.
Greg also says that the worst part of the process was experienced within the church, without specifying the denomination: “They do the atrocities in the name of God, so we have this thing of being afraid, of respecting and thinking that this is the only REAL”.
“I have undergone physical attacks, including electroshock, fasting, repetition of movements, I have written things to put on fire, things that are very significant on a mental level,” he said.
Greg also took the opportunity to highlight the LGBT+ Pride Parade, which will take place on June 2 on Avenida Paulista, in Sao Paulo. “It’s extremely important to have a moment to celebrate, to really value the struggle that began a long time ago when for others, to celebrate our artistic expressions, our desire to be free, with a lot of awareness, effort, but also to celebrate our moment.”
