John Textor sues Leila Pereira for insults and insults.
The fight between Leila Pereira, president of Palmeiras and John Textor, owner of SAF do Botafogo, is far from over. Last Thursday (23), the North American filed a lawsuit against Verdão’s representative.

However, Leila Pereira’s statements did not please the owner of the SAF of the Rio team, who decided to take action and filed a lawsuit for insult and defamation against the current president of Palmeiras.

John Textor, in his indictment, claims that Leila offended him three times. The first was on April 7, when she called him a “braggart” in an interview. The other, on April 8, in which the president stated that John was “the shame of Brazilian football”.
And finally, on April 22, where the North American claims that Leila called him an “idiot”, during his participation in the Roda Viva program. With this, Textor requests compensation for moral damages following President Alviverde’s statements.
The president of Palmeiras and the owner of SAF are experiencing moments of little friendship and a lot of turbulence, week after week they raise statements and insults from each other, and this thing is far from over.
To date, Palmeiras and Leila Pereira have not responded or commented on the accusations and the trial. However, upon returning to the capital, after qualifying for the Copa do Brasil, everything suggests that the commander will grant an interview to give her version.
