Bridgerton on Netflix: What to Expect from Season 3 Episode 2?

Long awaited by fans, Season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicles is finally available on Netflix… or almost! Because the platform has revealed only the first part of four episodes so far.

Indeed, this season, which focuses on the couple created by Penelope Fetherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), is divided into two parts. Which leaves fans feeling frustrated, given that they don’t have the final say on the story right away.

Especially since there are a lot of twists and turns in this first part of Bridgerton Season 3 and the rise of the power couple Penelope and Colin. While we wait to devour the final four episodes of this new season of the Netflix series, we can only imagine what will happen next and ask ourselves the right questions about what’s to come.

What can we expect from “Bridgerton” Season 3 Episode 2?

The first installment of Bridgerton Season 3, led by showrunner Jess Brownell, Scandal and Anne’s Invention writer, gave us a chance to introduce new characters and place pawns on the high society chessboard.

This first burst of episodes also served to establish Penelope and Colin as a couple, leading to a satisfying finale for fans who have been waiting for this romance for a long time. And yet, they are not at the end of their punishment.

Are Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington really getting married?

The fourth and final episode, the first part of season 3 of The Bridgerton Chronicles, ends in the carriage where Colin finally confesses his feelings to Penelope. The two then kiss passionately and even share the first moment of intimacy. But the carriage ride doesn’t last forever, they arrive in front of Bridgerton’s house.

There, Colin invites her to come down and asks her to marry him. Will the two lovebirds be able to celebrate their union? Even if her mother Violet Bridgerton confirms the affair, it is more difficult on Eloise’s part, still contradicting Penelope because she hid from her that she was Lady Whistledown.

Will Lady Whistledown’s identity be revealed?

And indeed, Lady Whistledown will no doubt be an increasingly difficult alter ego for Penelope. Now that she has found happiness and Colin has proposed to her, will Penelope stop writing her column and Lady Whistledown?

Will she tell the truth to Colin and explain the situation? Or will a new scandal break out? Perhaps the situation is out of Penelope’s control and her Lady Whistledown avatar is revealed without her being able to do anything about it.

Will Penelope Fetherington and Eloise Bridgerton become friends again?

The identity of Lady Whistledown was a point of contention between Penelope Fetherington and Eloise Bridgerton. The latter could not bear that his best friend hid a double life from him. Cold since the end of season 2, Penelope and Eloise are no longer friends in the first part of Bridgerton season 3, even if they cross paths frequently.

Eloise has become a wonderful friend to Cressida, but we get the feeling that the two former friends miss each other despite their differences. But the announcement of Penelope and Colin’s marriage should add fuel to the fire.

Will Violet Bridgerton and Marcus Anderson become a couple?

Very busy with the family happiness of her children, Violet Bridgerton does not really allow herself to be happy and does not really flirt during balls and other high society celebrations. But in the first episode of season 3 of the Netflix series, the Bridgertons’ mother appears to be attracted to Lord Marcus Anderson.

Except he’s Landy Danbury’s brother. But the latter does not seem to look at this rapprochement positively. So will this story end Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury’s friendship? Remember that the spin-off Queen Charlotte taught us that Lady Danbury had an affair with Violet’s father…

Will Francesca Bridgerton and John Sterling be able to live out their love?

Despite her shyness, Francesca Bridgerton managed to impress Queen Charlotte in the first episode of The Bridgerton Chronicles Season 3. The queen even called her the “brilliant” of the season and started looking for her husband.

But love has its reasons, which reason ignores, and Francesca grows closer to John Stirling, the Earl of Kilmartin, who is as calm and gentle as she is. Although the Queen tries to match her with one of her chosen suitors, Francesca listens to her heart. But will his family be allowed to experience his love?

Will Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma return?

That was one of the big questions of The Bridgerton Chronicles Season 3: Were Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his wife Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) going to get back together? The answer is yes, but for short scenes. Two lovers have gone on their honeymoon and they are definitely not ready to become viscounts and viscountesses.

So will they be back for the second part of season three? And in what roles? Do they plan to stay close to the Bridgerton family or live apart in their marriage, like Daphne Bridgerton and Simon Bassett, whose co-stars Phoebe Dinevoor and Regé-Jean Page left the series?
