Four girls and a good show

The film tells the story of four young Catholic women and one of them, a British cousin, who always find themselves in absurd situations related to the conflict. The story is inspired by the life of the creator of the show, Lisa McGee, to whom we already owe the drama Raw (2008-2013), which immersed the audience in the life of the “restaurant” long before the bear.

The characters are Erin (Saoirse-Monica Jackson), Orla (Louisa Harland), Clare (Coughlan, respectively) and Michelle (Jamie-Lee O’Donnell) living their lives in this tense context, sometimes just remembered by the writing on the wall. Interested in boys, alcohol and/or sex, these heroines embody an archetype that allows viewers to quickly identify with them.
