Getting off on the wrong foot
If this sequel is coming so late, it’s because Paul Feig hesitated too long. This is the first time that a British director has agreed to conduct exercises : “I’ve always refused, but in this particular case, I love the characters so much that I felt the need to find them again.” After three years of writing, he and his teams finally managed to get Kendrick and Live together for the second installment.
But a few weeks before filming began, Feig decided to throw the script in the trash and start from scratch. : “Even if it was good, we had a feeling that fans weren’t going to find what they were looking for 100% from the first hour.”
