The script for the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” already has a date to start writing, according to the creators of the series.
In an interview with colliderRoss Duffer, one of the creators of the hit series that never stops breaking records, revealed that there is already a plan in place for the fifth season, which includes the writers who will begin work on the script for the final season in August.
“We’ll take a little vacation in July,” said Ross Duffer. “And then let’s go back. I know the writers’ room will start in the first week of August.
However, despite the closeness for the arrival of this passage to the final chapter of the series, it should still be a while before it is ready. The Duffers have already said they have the entire series in mind, but this will only be the first step towards the season that finally reaches the consumer.
Previously, the Duffers also spoke to Collider about how the plan for seasons 4 and 5 was made in one go, rather than waiting until after season 4 to determine how the series would end.
“We had all the scripts before we started shooting, so we could see the whole thing as a whole. And we’ve outlined all five of them. So it’s really four and five or like one piece, and that was due to the six month hiatus we had due to the pandemic. So we don’t usually have a lot of time. It usually feels like the train is going down the tracks and Ross, my writers and I are just throwing the tracks on our way, when we’re in the middle of the season. And for the first time, we were able to see not only the fourth season but also the fifth globally, “explained Matt Duffer.
The wait for season 5 shouldn’t be as long as it was for season 4, which was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. While the final episodes of “Stranger Things” are yet to arrive, season 4 is now available in full on Netflix.
