One of the peaks of SF

The Matrix, made by the Wachowskis in the late 90s, is a film that needs no introduction. But if by chance you’ve never tried to pick the red pill down Neo’s white rabbit hole, we don’t recommend you try the adventure, even if you’re not particularly interested in science fiction.

Indeed, if we are talking here, first of all, about a true science fiction classic, we can consider The Matrix as one of the essential works of cinema, together with all genres and all eras. AlloCiné viewers weren’t wrong when they gave it 4,368 out of 5 stars (making it the seventh best sci-fi movie on the site).

A trip you must try at least once

With outstanding photography, absolutely revolutionary fight sequences and a particularly rich story, the feature film starring Keanu Reeves (in the most iconic role of his career), Carrie-Anne Moss and Laurence Fishburne is a journey that every film takes. The buff must be received at least once.

Still don’t want to explore those green lines of code a bit? Follow these characters in long robes who always wear curious dark glasses?

So give the first five minutes of the film a chance, which at the time was more than enough to convince the producers to fork over the entire budget of the film.
