Natalie will fall into her mistakes again
Maeva talks to Karine about Tommy’s mother’s new boyfriend. While talking, he realizes that it is Laurent. She is surprised and describes him as a stereotypical boring accountant. However, Maeva makes her mother promise not to tell anyone in the office.
When she arrives at L Cosmetiques, Karine rushes to tell Leonor and Enrique everything. Leonor noticed that Natalie liked her colleague, but she didn’t think it was mutual.
Enrique reveals that he has been undercover for several days. But, unlike them, he knew how to hold his tongue. Just then Natalie comes over to say hello. He adds that he has never been happier to reunite with his work colleagues.
A few hours later, Laurent confides in Enrique. He explains to her that Natalie is addicted to games. He feels guilty for taking her to the casino. Enrique comforts his friend. If Natalie says she took it, she must trust him.
Later, Laurent goes to the reception to see Natalie, who tells him about the rumors about them. Laurent replies that it doesn’t bother him. He then suggests that they get together tonight. Natalie suggests going to the casino, but Laurent, worried, prefers to go to the cinema for a change. He ends the reception without enthusiasm.
At the end of the day, Laurent joins Natalie. The latter pretends to have Tom’s text and convinces Laurent that his son is sleeping at home tonight. That’s why they cancel going to the cinema. Laurent is happy to see Natalie spending time with her son.
Back home, he meets Tom, who is about to join Maeva. She convinces her son that Laurent had urgent business and postponed their evening. After Tom leaves, Natalie takes the scratch cards out of her purse and runs over to see if she won.
Becker discovers the identity of Janet’s lover
Early in the morning, Clement discusses with Janet the revelation he made to her the day before. She absolutely wants to know the identity of her ex-lover. Janet replies that the most important thing is not who he slept with, but knowing why they both went elsewhere.
She points out that maybe their love wasn’t as strong as they thought. Clement hopes that she doesn’t question everything and insists that what happened with Claudine was nothing in her eyes. As Janet is about to leave, Clement asks her if Father Silvio was her lover. Janet does not answer and leaves the house.
A few minutes later, Clement calls Allen and takes him into his confidence. The latter is surprised. Clement specifies that he is certain that Janet’s ex-boyfriend is none other than Father Pavant, who he believes is a florist. Even when he and his wife were on their eternal journey, he had his doubts. Becker wonders how they are going to get out of this situation.
At the police station, a confrontation between Camille Griniac and his former colleague Benjamin takes place. Elis and Claudine follow the confrontation from behind a one-way window. Camille explains to him that she was told she knew what happened between her and Baptiste. She knows that Yusan raped her. Benjamin continues to deny.
With tears in her eyes, she explains to him that she is the only one who can help him. But the young man is afraid of losing his job if he talks to the police. Camille then informs him that one of Yuzan’s victims has killed himself.
He asks her how she can work with an individual who attacks women with complete impunity. Confused, Benjamin admits that Camille is right. He was a coward and should have been reported from the beginning.
Once the confrontation is over, Claudine congratulates Camille for finding the right words to change her mind. A young woman thanks her lawyer. If not by his side, he would have given up a long time ago.
Claudine then goes to Clement Becker’s office. She informs him that Benjamin has just given a brutal testimony against Zhusan. He takes the opportunity to apologize for getting mad at her lately and causing trouble between him and Janet. Claudine assures her ex-husband that she is there for him if he needs her, but Becker dismisses her.
In the evening, Clement comes home early from work. He confronts Janet about her adultery with Father Silvio. Clement accuses his wife of having an intimate relationship with a man the police suspect of being a serial killer.
Janet then claims that she knows Father Silvio well enough to know that he would never commit these murders. He adds that he was in love with her and would rather leave France than forget her.
Becker believes his wife was manipulating him. Janet explains to him that she allowed herself to be accused of murder. He then tells Becker that he can think what he wants, he knows that Father Silvio is innocent.
