The Helldivers 2 update will bring significant improvements to the game

More than a hundred changes and repairs are on the way

Developer Arrowhead has promised that it will make over 100 changes and fixes to Helldivers 2 as part of the game’s next update, details of which have been released on Discord (through IGN).

Expected to arrive next week, the update will reduce patrols and enemy spawn rates following feedback received from the community regarding changes made in previous updates.

There will also be invite-only lobbies, a fix to the issue involving unlimited grenades, and the availability of Super Champions at difficulty level six, which should make them easier to obtain. Currently, Super Champions can only be obtained in difficulties seven through nine of Helldivers 2, putting them out of reach for many. They are used to unlock the final ship module in each section.

Another change coming with the patch concerns visible supply lines and attack sources. Currently, the planets visible on the map of the galaxy have invisible lines between them that determine the path to liberation. To access a planet, Super Earth must have full control of a planet with a supply line connected to it. However, since Helldivers 2 doesn’t bring this mechanic to light, most players tend to ignore the focus when new imperative orders appear.

Many Helldivers 2 players believe that this lack of information in the user interface caused certain imperative orders to fail. Change comes to remedy this problem.

With over 12 million copies sold, Helldivers 2 is available for PC and PlayStation 5.
