The atmospheric block continues to prevent the passage of cold fronts over the South-East. Air quality continues to suffer!
Also during this week, the State of Sao Paulo should continue to be under the influence of high pressure which will bring the atmospheric blocking condition over much of the central-southern part of the country. As a result, cold fronts are unable to advance from the south to the southeast.
We are still in Veranico, a period with above average temperatures, dry climate, little or almost no rain which occurs when it is atypically hot for more than 4 days in mid-winter or even in autumn.
Temperature improvement will continue to occur between night/early morning and early morning throughout the state of Sao Paulo, due to the radiative loss condition, in addition to cloudless nights and open weather that is unable to hold the heat of the afternoons.

While, The entire state is expected to have another dry week with very high temperatures in the afternoon. In the next few days and at least until Friday 14 June we will have mostly sunshine, little or no cloud cover and rapidly rising temperatures. In the capital, maximum temperatures in the next few days are expected to vary between 29 and 28 °C. Inland the heat continues to exceed 30°C and even on the coast we will have temperatures around 30° at the beginning of the week, but varying between 28 and 27 in the next few days. No rain forecast!
Air quality compromised!
This drier period and the lack of significant precipitation still maintain an unfavorable situation for the dispersion of pollutants. Still air, little wind and lack of rain are weather conditions that will increase the concentration of pollutants, leaving the air more polluted.
Climatempo reinforces the cure with hydration during this period, as well as avoiding outdoor activities in strong sunlight and using protection such as caps and visors, in addition to the use of sunscreen.
