The next day, Dimitri’s father apologizes to Bastien and Luna for what happened to Sunale. He also asks for their mercy: Dimitri wants to see Sunale one last time before being interned in a psychiatric hospital. If Bastien and Luna categorically refuse, the young girl will overhear their conversation and decide to go to the police station.

Sunali takes advantage of the fact that the police are busy to sneak into the cell where Dimitri is being held. The latter asks for his forgiveness and explains that he never wanted to harm him.
