It was very nerve-racking. I was nauseous and scared during the whole shoot. But it was fun to get over it and move on.

Ishana on the sets of Watchers
Being on set is very exciting because you create an incredibly deep family relationship with everyone on set. You went through the war together. So that was a really interesting aspect of the movie because I felt like I connected with everybody. It’s almost too much emotion when you’re doing a project like this. It was really beautiful and surreal.“
And of course, M. Night Shyamalan went to Ireland for a few days to support his daughter. Ishana Shyamalan tells us, “He was making his own film, but he came anyway. He went back and forth, but he visited me and was very attentive.”

It didn’t interfere too much, it shone on its own, which it could do perfectly. But it was so nice to see the family bond between them. This is clearly a very creative family that encouraged the creativity and artistic talents of Ishana and all the family members. So it was great to witness that.“
