The joint police operation led to the arrest of two people
Two arrests were made in Horizontina, linked to allegations of sexual violence against minors. The operation, the result of collaboration between the Military Brigade and the Civil Police, led to the arrest of a 55-year-old Argentine citizen and another 39-year-old individual.
The Argentinian was arrested Thursday night, accused of a crime against a local child. The second man, captured Friday morning, already had a conviction previously established by the District of Brusque SC, with a sentence of 10 years.
Both individuals were subjected to the necessary legal procedures and sent to the prison system, where they remain at the disposal of justice.
