Cornmeal cake recipe with cheese

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cornmeal
  • 1 cup (tea) wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups (tea) sugar
  • 1 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing
  • Powdered sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling

Preparation method:

  1. Blend the eggs, milk, cornmeal, flour, sugar, parmesan and oil in a blender until smooth.
  2. Add the yeast and beat for another minute.
  3. Pour into a greased and floured 24cm diameter pan with a hole in the center and bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until lightly golden.
  4. Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and serve immediately.
