A Better Life Preview: What’s in store for Tuesday 18 June 2024 Episode 116 [SPOILERS]

Good news for Eric

At the Pavillon des Fleurs, it’s D-Day for Eric, who is preparing for his first self-defense lesson. About ten women are present, including Jennifer. Before the session, Eric tells about a time when he was a police officer, a woman was assaulted.

Seeing the women’s faces freeze and their concern grow, Luna asks Eric to start training immediately. So he offers Jennifer to play guinea pig by showing him his foolproof self defense technique. More motivated than ever, Jennifer manages to put Eric down. He is proud of himself.

At the end of class, Eric discusses things with Blanche. He asks if the feedback has been positive, and he replies that his anecdote about the attack made the participants laugh. He tells her: “We have to be careful not to wake up their injuries, we have to go gently.”

However, Blanche informs Eric that her first defense course was a success. As a result, she proposes to hold classes twice a week at the Pavillon des Fleurs. Of course, the ex-policeman accepts the proposal without hesitation.

Jennifer, on the other hand, returned to the doctor’s office. While she is quietly listening to music, Samuel suddenly arrives and surprises her. Jennifer turns around and grabs her boyfriend in a panic.

At Mistral’s medical office, Jennifer is visited by a man who wants to apply for a nursing position. The secretary replies that the search is closed. Babette arrives in turn and confirms that she has already found the rare pearl. Before leaving, the man takes care to leave a CV.

Late in the morning, in Mistral, a man had an epileptic attack. A nurse descends to the ground to save him, and luckily, Gabrielle and Babette are there too. Three caregivers manage to control the victim.

Gabriel asks the nurse at which facility she works, but the latter replies that she is currently looking for a position. As a result, Gabriel tells Babette that this man has the perfect profile to enter Mistral’s office.

A few minutes later, we meet the “victim” and the nurse, who are talking out of sight. Despite all odds, it turned out that this so-called That’s not all, he reminds her that the mission is not over and makes an appointment at the doctor’s office in two days.

Who is this mysterious person who is desperate to join the medical office? Could this be the man secretly investigating Jennifer?

New situation in the investigation

Although the brakes were sabotaged, Jean-Paul managed to control the car and stop in time. Arriving at the Mistral police station, Jean-Paul and Patrick tell Samuel what they just experienced. At the same time, Samuel gets a call from the hospital that Anais has woken up and can be questioned. Jean-Paul goes there immediately.

Arriving at the hospital, Jean-Paul meets Monsieur Delpierre, Michael and Anais’s father. The latter apologizes to him for behaving badly. In turn, Anais thanks the policeman for saving her life.

Jean-Paul asks her some questions about the attack, but Anais has no memory. All he remembers is that the attacker was wearing a mask and a hood. He adds that he received an SMS from an unknown number a few minutes before the attack.

Back at the police station, Jean-Paul notices that Anais’ phone is too damaged to be unlocked. So it is impossible to know who sent him the message.

But good news seems to him. Charlotte, from PTS, informs him that shoe prints were found near the gymnasium where Anais was attacked, and they match the one examined near the safe belonging to Abdel Fedala. Thus, the thief and the criminal will be one and the same person.

At the end of the day, Samuel, Patrick and Jean-Paul provide information about the investigation. Suddenly, they receive an important piece of information: the person who sent the message to Anais is actually one of the three suspects.
