Anouk Aimee, the French actress whose cult films include Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita”; “Lola”, by Jacques Demy, and “A Man, a Woman”, by Claude Lelouch, have died at the age of 92.
“We bid farewell to a world-famous icon, a great actress of French cinema who played roles for some of the biggest names, such as Demy, Lelouch and Fellini,” French Culture Minister Rachida Dati said on the social media platform For this Tuesday.
Aimee’s daughter, Manuela Papatakis, said in an Instagram post that Aimee died at her home in Paris.
