For 20 years, this British actor hid the fact that he is gay from his family and friends. In his teenage years, Jonathan suffered a lot from hiding his orientation, as he did so mainly due to the pressure of the society that did not accept homosexuality.
Even this fear of being seen affected him professionally. In an interview with ‘GQ’ magazine he said that at the beginning of his career, while recording a series, a well-known producer advised him to hide his homosexuality as it would help him improve his career.
This fear of not succeeding in his career led him to continue to deny his sexuality, until after much thought he gathered courage and chose to openly decide that he is gay.
So far it is not known if Bailey is in a relationship, as he is very discreet about his personal life, even on his social networks.
What is known about him is that he is a homebody, has two nephews and is fond of sports such as hiking and surfing.
Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte)
The star of the ‘Brigerton’ spin-off started his career in theatre, where he met Shireen Mula, a playwright who has been his partner for more than 10 years. The artists, who started their relationship in 2010, met for the first time at a party of mutual friends.
In several interviews, Golda has spoken openly about her great love and always praises the invaluable support she has from him, both personally and professionally.
