“Amsterdam,” the new film from acclaimed director and screenwriter David O. Russell, has a trailer and poster, showing an impressive cast of stars.
The film promises to present viewers a fascinating story, with three friends (Bale, Robbie and Washington) who find themselves at the center of one of the most secret conspiracies in US history. “Amsterdam” blends historical reality and fiction in an epic detective story.

Starring Christian Bale, Margot Robbie and John David Washington, the film also has many other big stars, including Robert De Niro, Alessandro Nivola, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Rami Malek, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Zoe Saldaña and singer Taylor Swift.
Five-time Oscar nominee David O. Russell directs and writes the film, which is produced by Arnon Milchan, Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas, David O. Russell and Christian Bale, and executive producers by Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer and Sam Hanson.
Russell was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Director for “The Winner” (2010), “American Hustle” (2013), both with Christian Bale, and “Silver Linings Playbook” (2012), as well as a nomination for Best Non-original screenplay for “O Lado Bom da Vida” and Best Original Screenplay for “Trapaça”.

It was working alongside Russell that Christian Bale won his only Oscar so far, for his role in “The Winner”. In addition to Bale, the cast also includes Rami Malek and Robert De Niro who have already won the Academy statuette, while Margot Robbie has already been nominated twice.
“Amsterdam”, a film from 20th Century Studios, hits Brazilian theaters in November this year.
