“The Boys” is a series born in 2019 and since its first season has managed to become one of the favorites for the appearance of superheroes in a different way than what the audience was used to by Marvel or DC Comics.
The fight between Billy Butcher and the Homelander continues in the fourth season of “The Boys”
With a fourth season premiering and a fifth confirmed, Butcher, Hughie, Mother’s Milk, Annie, Frenchie and Kimiko continue their journey to uncover the corruption of the Vought Corporation and, of course, eliminate Homelander, the leader of the Seven. Although they haven’t made it in the series yet, in the original comic it turns out that this superhero dies and so it does.
In the final season, produced by Prime Video, Butcher injected himself with compound V, which gave him superhuman powers such as strength, durability, and laser vision to eventually compete at Homelander’s level. However, he fails the mission despite having the help of Soldier Boy, a former superhero.
Now in the new chapters the goal remains the same, but it seems to be more difficult to achieve since it was discovered that compound V affects the human body to the point of shortening life to mere months, which is why its use is no longer possible Mia selection.
Butcher and the Homelander Clone: What Will the End of Evil Be Like in ‘The Boys’?
Although the Homelander is still alive in the TV adaptation, at one point in the comic “The Boys” his death is one of the most important events in the story. According to expert @pacohdez77, this happens in volume 65 of the saga, when Homelander assassinates the president of the United States in the White House.
Also on stage is Billy Butcher and Black Noir, a character who is also part of the Seven and has always kept his face hidden as he wears a mask at all times. However, upon seeing the crime scene he decides to remove it and to his surprise, he reveals that it is a Homelander clone, created as an alternate plan to kill the real evil superhero.
The two begin to fight and in the end it is the Homelander clone who wins by dismembering his enemy, but Butcher jumps into action and manages to kill the clone, causing ‘The Boys’ antagonist to finally die.
It is currently unknown if the creators of the TV show will faithfully capture the death of the Homelander and include Black Noir in it or there will be a total change, but it will certainly be one of the bloodiest events that will give people something to talk about.
