Penguin: the series derived from Batman receives a new teaser; I wait

Penguinseries derived from Batman (2022), by Matt Reeves, received another teaser this Thursday (20th). Directed by Craig Zobel, the spin-off production will debut on Max in the second half of this year and will see Colin Farrell, once again, playing the villain.

Penguin picks up the story of the wily criminal played by Farrell shortly after the events of the 2022 Batman film – which starred Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight and is not directly connected to the DC Comics cinematic universe.

The intention of the series is to demonstrate how far the villain can go to dominate Gotham City. “It’s a great example of having time in eight episodes to tell a longer arc character story with lots of delicious twists and new characters.,” Sarah Aubrey, Max’s head of original productions, told Variety.
