On Thursday, July 7, it all starts here…
Celia wakes up early in the morning in Theo’s arms. The young man thought about it and wants to move to Paris with him. Besides, he really wants it. Delighted, he offers her a ride to the capital tonight. This will give them time to settle in and enjoy themselves before he starts his new job as chef at home. However, Theo didn’t think they would be leaving so quickly. He still has to talk to his parents about his decision and is already suspicious of his father’s reaction. But Celia already has a solution: she will call them as soon as they arrive in Paris.
Later, Theo has packed his bags and is about to leave the family home when he runs into Axel. When he imagines that he is going back to live with Celia, the chef finally admits to him that he has decided to move in with her in Paris. He also clarifies that he hasn’t told his parents at this point and is going to wait until he gets there to warn them. Indeed, Theo is convinced that this is for the best, as he is afraid of his father’s reaction. Axel advises her not to be a coward and confront her family to tell the truth.
At the same time, Claire calls Emmanuel to tell him some good news: Double A is competing for the prestigious Vattel Prize. Moreover, the inspector will come anonymously for lunch at the app’s restaurant during the next week. In his opinion, Theo should create an even more ambitious card for this occasion. Teissier proves that he can do it perfectly. If they win the prize, Double A will be recognized as a gourmet restaurant and Theo’s career will take a new direction.
Meanwhile in the swamp, Celia finishes packing her bags when Diego announces to her that they have signed a sale contract for their farm. It’s sad though. If he is finally able to travel with Isabelle, he tearfully confides to his little girl that the situation is not so simple. Indeed, his father created this farm before he took it over. Diego had hardly left the swamps before, so this is a big change for him. He suspected that one day he would sell his property, but now things are becoming concrete. So Celia assures him that they made the right decision and then admits that she and Theo are going to move in together in Paris. In the end, the only thing that matters to Diego is seeing his little girl happy.
Not far from there, Teissier announces to Constance that Double A is going to compete for the Vattel Prize. Overjoyed, the nurse wants to warn Theo immediately, but Emmanuel prefers to tell him in person. He had already chilled the champagne to celebrate the occasion. Appalled by her husband’s praise of their son, Constance wanted to say it to his face, but to no avail. Tessier prefers to push his son to the limit.
Celia, on the other hand, is so impatient to go to her boyfriend that she has already bought the train tickets. Moreover, her parents agree to take her home as long as necessary. But Theo finally changed his mind. He wants to make things right and tell his parents the truth before he leaves. When Celia fears that her father will manage to change her mind once again, her boyfriend promises her that won’t happen.
Theo then returns home to find the whole family in the living room with a bottle of champagne. Indeed, the Teyssiers have a few things to celebrate: Constance and Emmanuelle are officially back together, and Double A is competing for the Vattel Prize. So Theo learns that an inspector is coming next week to judge his menu at the restaurant. However, the young chef does not jump for joy as his father expected. Besides, he wants to think about it. Tessier tries to grasp the opportunity that is presented to him and loses his temper. If he does not want to win this prize, he will put someone who will be happy to be in his place: Louis Guino, for example.
Teissier and Enzo begin training for the National Pastry Championship by preparing a recreated mille-feuille. As they prepare to begin dessert, Emmanuel announces to his second-in-command that Salome is joining their brigade. Accordingly, the young woman will be their clerk during the competition.
At the end of the training, Enzo expresses his concern to Salome. Indeed, the valedictorian of the third year of promotion fears that his classmate will have a bad experience just by being their clerk. The latter ensures that this is not the case. Indeed, he immediately accepted the director’s proposal, because he had never experienced the adrenaline of a championship. After all, she points out to him that there are no great champions without little soldiers.
Not far from there, Noemi returns to the institute after several months of absence. After flying to Singapore last February, Noem returned to France for good. If his position was perfect, he confided to Anais that he had received an offer he could not refuse from Benoit DeLobel. Indeed, he is now a pastry chef at the Beaumont Hotel, a highly rated establishment. However, he did not come to the institute to talk about his career, but to talk to Mehdi. Unfortunately, the student took the day off to visit his mother. Then Emmanuel interrupts the two young women. If she knew she was back in the region, she didn’t know Noemi was competing in the National Pastry Championship. The director is far from impressed but is confident that it will win the competition. Moreover, he intends to take advantage of this opportunity to teach her a lesson in humility. However, Noemi is not going to let him win the prize so easily. For this, he came to recruit Mehdi for the second time. Teissier is fiercely against this and orders that his students do not prepare their side.
Later, Anais confided a secret to Salome: Chef Demir, a member of the jury of the best school in France, called her. He wants her to be part of his team during the baking championship. Unfortunately, he overheard Tessier tell Noemi that he flatly refused to allow his students to compete.
Charlene is outraged after seeing the same package that contained the sheets on her father’s desk and on Rose’s desk. The young woman, convinced that they are having an affair, shares her suspicions with Louis, but he finds his theory untenable. Not only do they dislike each other, but Rose and Antoine are madly in love with each other. According to Charlene, this does not prove anything. So Louis asks his girlfriend why Rose would sleep with a lunatic like Emmanuel. He replies that he doesn’t because he has an Oedipus complex that everyone fantasizes about his father.
Later, Rose gives questionnaires to prospective graduate students to find out what they expect from this new course as well as their needs regarding the professional project. Once alone, Charlene confronts Rose and hints that she is having an affair with her father. The communicator cannot believe it. While the student provokes him, he orders him to talk differently because he is not his friend.
After telling Constance that Double A was going to compete for the Vattel Prize, Teissier passionately kisses his wife. If Constance and Emmanuel have managed to hide from their children that they got back together, Charlene surprises them in the infirmary. Then the student realizes that he was on the wrong track. Embarrassed to death, he tells his parents that he confronted Rose that very day because he thought she was his father’s mistress. Emmanuel doesn’t understand how he imagined such a thing and asks him to fix the situation. Even if Charlene is happy that they got back together, she regrets that they kept the truth from her. But Constance admits to him that they just needed a moment of intimacy to find themselves. Happy, Charlene grabs them.
