35 years after the action film The Killer, Chinese director John Wu (Volte/Face, Mission Impossible II) will make his cult film with Omar Sy.
This reimagining of the Hong Kong classic, in which a hitman determined to turn his life around ends up blinding a young singer during his last contract, is directed by Chow Yun-fat and Danny Lee. 9 years in the making, this self-remake has just been released in French cinemas.
The 2024 version of Killer will hit our theaters on October 23, 2024. The feature film, which is scheduled to be streamed live in the US, will therefore benefit from a theatrical release in France thanks to Universal Pictures. In this new version, the role of the killer is played by actress Natalie Emmanuel, who has already been seen in Game of Thrones and Fast & Furious.Omar C A policeman follows him.
