The actor confirmed that he will return as Doctor Strange in Marvel’s next big reunion, scheduled to hit theaters in 2026.
Benedict Cumberbatch(Eric) already has a date to wear the cover of Doctor Strange. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he will be in Avengers 5the next meeting of Marvel heroes, and also announced that filming should begin in 2025.
“It’s been a lovely relationship with the company so far”declared the actor in an interview with Still Watching about his participation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, by revisiting the most memorable roles of his career as an actor.
“I’m really looking forward to [começar a filmar] Avengers in the next year”added Cumberbatch.
Before baptized The Kang Dynasty, Avengers 5 underwent changes after the dismissal of Jonathan Majorswho had already lived Kang the Conqueror in Loki (2021-2023) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2022), before being convicted of domestic violence.
Recently, the deadline revealed that Shawn Levyresponsible for Deadpool & Wolverinethe new film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could direct the new film from Avengers. Furthermore, the expectation is that around 60 characters already known to the public will come together in the new feature.
