“The whole room went crazy!” : Captain America experienced Avengers Endgame with fans and still remembers this scene

During the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, Chris Evans quit Captain America to become a surprised fan of the saga in which he has long shone.

Thirteen years ago, the actor became a key member of the Marvel franchise, taking on the role of Steve Rogers, aka Captain America. From 2011 when he started his journey to 2019 when he finished The last game, Chris Evans was an important and integral part of the MCU story.

And despite being a mainstay of the franchise for many years and having an in-depth knowledge of plot twists, the actor admitted he was still worried about watching some of its iconic moments. Thus he revealed that a particular scene The last gameWhich he first discovered on the screen in a crowded room while watching the movie brought him all kinds of emotions.

An unforgettable moment

The Avengers saga featured many iconic scenes and moments that thrilled fans like never before. While these segments were designed to elicit these strong reactions from the audience, the emotional magnitude of these moments was also felt by the Marvel cast themselves, and especially Chris Evans.

The scene that gave him goosebumps? The final battle of the Avengers against Thanos and Captain America ends with Mjolnir, the hammer of Thor, a scene that provoked strong reactions from the audience around him. The moment then brought him back to the state of being a child fascinated by the magic of cinema, as he himself stated (via Marvel Facts).

I saw Endgame for the first time at the premiere. I usually preview the films I’m working on and rarely attend previews (too much anxiety). But as the last part of a ten-year journey, I wanted to experience this final film as the audience did. When Cap hit Mjolnir, the whole room went crazy. Even though I knew the moment was coming, I was still emotional. In the weeks that followed, friends and family would send me clips from theaters around the world, which were collective at the time. Seeing these reactions and knowing that I was lucky enough to be a part of these people’s memories filled me with a sense of pride and gratitude that I can never adequately express. At this moment, I’m not an actor, nor an adult: I’m still a little kid, completely fascinated by the power and magic that movies can do. Damn… my throat is tight.

And if it’s already impossible to describe the emotions of fans facing this scene in particular – and many others – we can’t even imagine what it must feel like. Chris Evans. However, we have a little idea…
