However, the terror begins when Cady and M3GAN begin a friendship. This is because the doll further improves its intelligence, until it becomes completely independent and decides to kill anyone it deems a threat to the child. So Gemma must do everything she can to resolve this situation.

9 – An unknown obsession
With Maika Monroe, who plays Ruth, and Jake Lacy, in the role of Harry, this horror with sci-fi touches was highly appreciated by critics. This film turned out to be an excellent 2023 Stephen King adaptation. In the plot, a family suffers from the death of its matriarch. Sadie Harper (Sophie Thatcher) is a 16-year-old teenager who is trying to deal with the loss of her mother and, at the same time, must deal with a sadistic and evil creature that scares her and her younger sister, Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair).

3 – Death of the Demon: The Rise

However, she ends up taking away the family’s peace when she, along with three armed men (Rupert Grint, Nikki Amuka-Bird, and Abby Quinn), invade the cabin and take the entire family hostage.
But unlike a robbery, they actually tell the family that they will sacrifice them to prevent the coming apocalypse. Now, Eric and Andrew, along with their daughter, must find a way to survive while wondering if the story of saving the world is real or if Leonard and his companions are members of a crazy cult.

1 – Talk to me
Another outstanding and critically acclaimed production is the film Fale Comigo. Directed by Australians Danny and Michael Philippou, the film was produced by A24. The plot follows a group of friends who find a stuffed hand. Through it it is possible to summon spirits. To achieve this, they must light a candle, hold hands and say “talk to me!”.
At first it was all a joke, but one of the group members breaks an important rule: not to exceed the maximum time the conversation could last. Therefore, evil spirits begin to haunt them.
