Internacional announces their return to Beira-Rio in the match against Vasco

After the climate tragedy that devastated the RS, Colorado’s reunion with its home fans will be on July 7, for the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship

Internacional announced this Friday (28) that it will once again use Beira-Rio to host its matches starting July 7. The stadium was closed for a long time due to the floods that devastated Rio Grande do Sul.

Colorado fans will thus find the team at home in the duel against Vasco, which will take place at 20:30 (Brasilia time), for the 15th round of the Brazilian Championship.

“We are coming back. The homesickness already has a date to end. On July 7, Clube e Povo will return to the Gigante to face Vasco in the Brasileirão. The time has come to put an end to the wait. Beira-Rio awaits us! ”, wrote the club on its social networks.

The last time Inter played at Beira-Rio was in the 1-1 draw against Atlético-GO, on April 28, in the quarter-final of the Brasileirão.

The lawn of the Colorado stadium was flooded by floods during the tragedy that occurred in the state. Inter therefore needed to play in other stadiums, such as Arena Barueri, in Sao Paulo, Alfredo Jaconi, in Caxias do Sul, Orlando Scarpelli, in Florianópolis, and Heriberto Hülse, in Criciúma.
