Carla and Berenice make a disturbing discovery
At the villa, Suleiman is enjoying the swimming pool while his friends rush around the brunch table. When Cleo comes to ask if they need anything cooked for them, Suleiman rushes out of the pool to ask her for a boiled egg – which Penelope doesn’t miss. As the adults join the adults, Carla purposefully goes inside to avoid Paul. But the latter follows him and takes him by the arm, urging him to be careful what he says or does, at the risk of regret.
Later, Rose goes to her daughter, who is in Berenice’s company, and scolds her for not apologizing to Paul and continuing her unpleasant relationship with him. Carla explains that she doesn’t trust him and reveals the threat he made earlier. Rose thinks he’s dramatizing the situation. Whistling, Carla accuses her mother of shooting herself at the first person who comes along simply because she can’t stand the fact that her ex is back with a young girl. But Rose doesn’t let his words affect her. She is determined not to let her vacation get in the way.
At the edge of the swimming pool, Penelope, Suleiman, Jasmine and Jimmy relax on deckchairs, more or less distracted by the tension between Carla, Rose and Paul. At the same time, Penelope surprises Suleiman, who is watching Cleo from afar. So he urges her to approach him directly. Instead, Suleiman offers his friends to go for a walk. They decide to go to the beach.
Suleiman suggests that Karla and Berenice come to them under the condition that there will be no bad atmosphere. He is well aware that Carla only invited them to the villa to annoy Rose. Carla flatly denies this and refuses to go to the beach. As Suleiman leaves, Berenice agrees. She believes her girlfriend is going too far out of jealousy over Paul. Again, Carla claims that she is not jealous. On the contrary, he is convinced that Paul is hiding something.
Rose, on the other hand, walks in the villa garden with Paul and takes the opportunity to apologize for Carla’s behavior. Paul reassures her: he has no problem with them staying put. Indeed, he had already had to deal with this type of situation when he was dating a woman who already had a teenage son he didn’t like very much. Rose admits that even though she doesn’t know Carla very well since she recently found out she’s her biological daughter, she knows her well enough to know that she’s not doing any harm by acting the way she does. Paul then decides to take Rose for a ride in his classic car. The latter accepts on the condition that he leaves the steering wheel to him.
Alone in the villa, Carla and Berenice go upstairs and meet Cleo. She tells them that she works at the villa year-round, but that she doesn’t see Paul often because he travels a lot. And when he is not traveling, he remains locked in his office, where no one is allowed. In addition, there is a digital code on the door. This piques Carla’s curiosity. As Cleo leaves, she manages to crack the code after several attempts. Carla and Berenice enter the office to find an entire wall of guns on display. Two scared young girls take a photo before leaving the office.
A short while later, Paul and Rose drive back to the villa. Rose says she loved the adrenaline rush. Paul approaches her for a kiss and she kisses him back…
Enzo gets frustrated
After David leaves, Enzo reclaims his room from the one in the swamp. He’s barely got his stuff down when he’s already implementing all the ideas he had overnight for his new concept. Vicky comes to support him, confident that Leroy will agree to run the makeshift restaurant. Enzo then offers to work with him as a second, much to his girlfriend’s delight. At the same time, Enzo and Vicki receive a call from the director of the institute.
So they go to his office together. Leroy announces that he’s offering Vic a pop-up chef position to congratulate him on his end-of-year exams, where he graduated valedictorian. As for Enzo, he offers to oversee an ephemeral restaurant. So he will be paid to support Vicky in creating his menu, in his brigade constitution, then making necessary adjustments to the restaurant. A very interested Vicki, however, asks Leroy to think before making a decision.
At the park, Enzo admits to Vic that he is disappointed by Leroy’s proposal because he planned to become a chef at an ephemeral restaurant. He regrets that he cannot cook. Vicki gets him to see the bright side of things: being a supervisor will allow him to pay it back and they can spend the summer together. The young girl manages to convince her boyfriend to agree to Leroy’s proposal, admitting that being by his side makes her feel at ease.
Kelly said goodbye to Lionel
Solal and Lionel go to the amphitheater on the first day of summer camp. Among the participants is Matteo, Judy’s boyfriend, but also Zoe, Lionel’s younger sister, who reunites with her best childhood friend Gary, as well as Thelma, who arrives late. Lionel then lays down some essential rules regarding respect for hierarchy, involvement, and punctuality.
For the first training, Mateo and Thelma are in pairs. When Solal comes to see their plate, the young girl takes the opportunity to tell him how happy she is to see him again. For his part, Lionel is uncompromising about Gary and his sister’s recipe. He is then interrupted by Kelly’s arrival.
It was indeed time to go to Brittany for Kelly, who decided to work at Salome’s restaurant. His mother is traveling with him to help him settle in for the week before he returns to the institute. As Lionel and Kelly observe, the summer campers understand better why he was so demanding of them from the beginning of the day and feel sympathy for him.
Lionel and Kelly said goodbye with great emotion…
