Georges discovers terrible evidence against Melody
After the announcement of the forensic examination, the investigation takes a new stage. Indeed, John did not kill himself after killing Clarisse. He was killed, probably by the same person who killed Clarisse. After that, the police hypothesized that the jealous husband discovered his wife’s affair.
So Martin goes to the hospital to question Igor. The latter is only preparing things to go home, and Sebastien accompanies him. Martin tells them that John isn’t Clarisse’s killer, then asks Igor where he was during the double murder. Igor claims that he worked alone in his workshop. By checking his phone, Sebastian has proof that Igor was not alone, because he still came to see him before 5:30 PM.
In the corridor, Martin calls Georges to inform him of Igor’s alibi. Convinced of his father-in-law’s sincerity regarding this alibi, Martin decides to investigate Kovac’s phone further to find new leads. Meanwhile, Sebastian invites Igor to lunch at his daughter’s house so he won’t be home alone and do something stupid again.
At La Paillote, Lilu notices that Bastien is not well. He asks her why and learns that her father is dead, as well as her lover. A shocked young girl comforts Bastien as he walks alone to the funeral. Lilu has to go back to work, but he ensures that she will be there for him if needed. Violet quickly arrives from Bastien, who is disturbed by Lilu’s sincerity.
At the police station, Roxanne and Timothée inform Georges that they found encrypted messages on John’s phone that confirmed his passionate affair with Clarice. On the other hand, they found that Tony was much colder on the day of the murder. Clarisse texted John to meet her at the garage to have an important conversation. Given that Clarisse’s cell phone was found stuck in the garage earlier that afternoon, police suspect that a third party set up the argument so they could meet in the garage and the killer could act. In addition, Roxanne and Timothee reveal to George that they also discovered the message exchange between John and Melody!
Georges immediately goes to search for the rings found at the crime scene. He holds up a small gem. Damien confirms that he found Kovac on the floor in the garage. George borrowed it from him. On his way back home, he tries to contact Melody on the phone, to no avail. This filters his calls.
On the other hand, while she is walking down the street, she picks up the tune when Bastien calls her. The teenager admits that he was touched by his reaction when he heard about his father’s death. Melody promises to be by her side if needed. After disconnecting the ear, he started crying.
Georges, on the other hand, returns home and searches for his partner’s belongings. He finally finds the ring he usually wears and notices that a small gem is missing, the very thing that rings…
Nothing is going well between William and the Auror
At the spoon, Nordin has a drink with Rachel. He notices that she is tensed. He admits that he dreads meeting Manon every day at the police station. While Rachel thinks this is an opportunity for the two exes to get closer, Nordin says she really wants to move on. To take his mind off it, Rachel offers him a mountain bike ride as a souvenir of the good old days. Nordin then reveals that he always hated it, but he tried to have fun with it then.
At the police station, Nordin meets Roxanne in the break room and asks if she knows of any cool mountain bike rides in the area for a friend. Manon joins them and overhears their conversation, suspecting that the friend she is talking about is none other than Rachel. Although Nordin offers to help her get hold of the elusive cakes, Manon flatly rejects her.
At the end of the day, Manon returns to her new apartment and runs into Rachel. The two women discover that they are going to live in the same building, as Rachel has just moved into a studio on the fourth floor and Manon has moved into a first floor apartment with her mother. Manon then mentions the mountain bike ride that Nordin looked up for her and promises to give her some good advice that she knows. Rachel suggests that she come over and talk to him herself since they are now neighbors.
Meanwhile, Aurora arrives from the villa to retrieve the tart pan. She runs into William and invites him to come and have dinner with them. The latter defends his position and categorically refuses to support the Auror’s decision, always scolding his wife for doing it without him. Aurora thinks she’s overreacting. William says he’d better get everything he needs now because he’d rather not see her for a few weeks.
Sylvain suspects Bruno and Christel of having an affair
At Moreno’s, Sylvain is getting ready to go to work, and Christel complains that she didn’t sleep well. Bruno, on the other hand, decided to start running for his day off.
At Spoon, Sylvain takes care of the necessary repairs. Nathan thanks her, then asks her to clean the kitchen counter. Sylvain realizes that he lacks the necessary equipment. He calls Bruno to ask him to bring him, but the latter does not answer. So Sylvain calls Christel, who hangs up without realizing it. Sylvain then overhears a conversation between his wife and her best friend, leading him to believe that they are sleeping together.
Sylvain rushes home and realizes his mistake. Bruno is just taking care of Christel, who has a high fever. When they heard what he imagined, they gently laughed at him.
Bruno decides to leave the couple alone for the evening. Christel then admits to Sylvain that he is flattered that she is still jealous, and then assures him that she only loves him.
