On July 24, Deadpool & Wolverine will finally reveal their secrets. And, as Marvel hopes, relaunch a less fast-paced MCU than Infinity War and Endgame. In three weeks, in theaters, we’ll probably find out why and how this teaser was signed by Ryan Reynolds on social media.
A few days ago, the actor published a post on his account Instagram, a video of a flag featuring the Avengers logo, associated with the symbol of anarchy. A visual that was later found on the hat he appeared in.

For many, this is proof that Deadpool will be in the cast of Avengers 5 (currently called Kang Dynasty). And that’s true to the extent that the film is currently being talked about, between Benedict Cumberbatch, who says he’ll play Doctor Strange, and Sean Levy, who’s best suited to direct it.
Nothing is certain at this level yet, but it is said Marvel Studios would refuse The return of the Russo brothers behind the camera. And, for the eighteenth time this year, Robert Downey Jr. is patiently waiting The right project to return to the MCUDespite his character’s death.
Deadpool-style Avengers?
So a lot is unclear, and hopefully Marvel’s return to Comic-Con will allow us to see things more clearly. Meanwhile, the solution to the Ryan Reynolds tease is probably simpler and closer to us than we think: because it could be a tease of a Deadpool & Wolverine element.
The film will be about alternate realities and options. And they say that we will see already famous scenes from the MCU from another angle. So it wouldn’t be surprising to see this Avengers flag (tagged by Deadpool himself or someone else) in the sequence.
What does this mysterious flag hide?
Given the few images revealed so far, we can even put forward two hypotheses: this is the emblem of the X-Men team assembled by Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrine), or a rough version of the Avengers that Deadpool will bring. Together, a sensational entry into the MCU.
In the absence of an official synopsis, discussions about the film often bring up the name of X-Force (who appeared in Deadpool 2 before being scrapped). And it could be his logo that Ryan Reynolds is currently teasing us with. Answer, hopefully, on July 24.
