The actor who played the title character in the ‘Harry Potter’ saga reflects on childcare behind the scenes of filming in the age of social media
Last April it was announced that the universe of Harry Potter would get a new version, now for TV, that tells the story from the beginning. And during a recent interview with the site Entertainment Tonight, the actor who played the famous magician at the age of eight, Daniel Radcliffshared some tips to make behind-the-scenes work easier for the new cast of kids.
“I have one piece of advice for everyone: Let kids be kids. I can’t imagine what it would have been like to do that. Harry Potter in the age of social media. We were a little bit before,” says the actor.
Radcliffe played the title character in eight films distributed by Warner Bros.. between 2001 and 2011. And despite leaving his mark on the mythology, his participation in the new series has not been confirmed, but he says he is interested in being able to speak to the people involved.
Without a release date set, it is speculated that the production will reach the catalog of Maximum in the first half of 2026. The streaming platform has not yet defined who will be responsible for the writing and directing, but names such as Martha Hillier, Kathleen Jordan, Tom Moran, Michael Lesslie AND Francesca Gardiner have been mentioned as possible screenwriters, but nothing official.
