The Terminal List on Prime Video: Will there be a Season 2 for the series with Chris Pratt?

Starting Friday, July 1, the Amazon Prime Video platform offers its new original series, The Terminal List. Adapted from Jack Carr’s bestselling novels (unpublished in France), this program follows the story of Marine James Rees (Chris Pratt), the sole survivor of an attack that destroyed his unit in Syria, targeted by a mysterious organization. And his memories are altered by the post-traumatic syndrome he suffers from.

This Season 1 of The Terminal List is an adaptation of the first novel in the literary cycle, totaling five volumes to date. So there are enough stories to tell to justify renewing the series for a season or more. Here’s what program creator David DiGiglio confirmed in an exclusive interview he gave us at the 2022 Monte Carlo Festival:

We are lucky that Jack Carr is very prolific. He writes one novel a year, and each book is the basis for a possible new season of The Terminal List and the adventures of James Rhys. So we still have four seasons to go, with a bit of luck, because he’s already written 5 volumes. The second volume is amazing. And our hope is to be able to adapt each book to the screen.

The eight-episode first season of The Terminal List is available now exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
