In The Rejectedwhile all the students and teachers at a boarding school prepare for the holidays with their families, a group of rejects ends up being left behind. Film yielded funny story in Rio de Janeiro

In January of this year, after a screening of Os Rejeitados at Estação Net Rio, a classic cinema in Botafogo, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro, around 40 people were surprised to discover that the place had closed and forgotten them inside.

The group realized something was wrong at the end of the session. The lights, which are usually turned on when the movies end, had not been turned on, forcing people to use the stairs in the dark, using the flashlights on their cell phones. In the lobby came a surprise: they were locked. They then called the police and the fire department.

One of the clients, the teacher Marcelo Alonsorecorded the moment on social media. In the video, he and the other people are at the gate, in the dark. “Locked in the Estação Net cinema, in Botafogo! The employees turned off the lights and LOCKED US IN THE CINEMA!!! Absurd!!! After we screamed and called the Fire Department, they took us out of the cinema”he wrote in the caption.
