Thiago Silva is made official by the IDB and could debut in the next round

Defender Thiago Silva registered his name in the CBF’s Daily Information Bulletin (BID) this Thursday (11). With this, the reinforcement is ready to debut with Fluminense and should play from the next round onwards.

Fluminense plays this Tuesday, against Criciúma, away. Thiago Silva, however, will not play until July 21, against Cuiabá. This date marks the 122nd anniversary of the Tricolor, but the match will be played at the Arena Cuiabá.

The defender has signed a contract until June 2026 with Fluminense and has been working with the group since last month. The tricolor idol will have the mission of helping in the fight against relegation. The club is currently last in the Brasileirão, with 7 points in 15 rounds.
