Almost 2 years ago, in September 2022, Newen, the company supporting HPI, announced the American adaptation of the successful detective series. A surprising project that was not at all to the taste of Audrey Fleuro, who did not shy away from criticizing this remake many times.
However, High Potential, the English translation of HPI, will definitely see the light of day and will be broadcast on ABC from September 17th. For the occasion, actress Kaitlin Olson, seen in Philadelphia, will be wearing the iconic Morgan shoes. Karadec, a character originally played by Mehdi Nebibu, is portrayed by Daniel Sunjata (Grey’s Anatomy).
The ER cast is joining the series
ABC has tapped another iconic actor from the small screen to join the high-potential cast. Garrett Dillahunt will actually give his features to Lt. Mellon, a police officer in charge of the anti-robbery squad who dreams of leading the major crime division of Los Angeles. A character who should probably be the antagonist of our two heroes.
If the name Garette Dillahunt doesn’t ring a bell, her face should be familiar. Earlier in his career, he appeared in The X-Files and ER, playing Sam’s ex-husband (Linda Cardellini).
She also had one of the main roles in the TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and also in the sitcom Raising Hope. He recently played John Dore in Fear The Walking Dead.
Second part of HPI season 4 coming soon on TF1
Last May, TF1 aired the first four episodes of HPI Season 4 to an average of 7 million viewers. Unfortunately, due to filming scheduling reasons, Front Page had to decide to air this new season in two parts.
Therefore, HPI fans will have to wait until next fall to find out the rest of Morgan Alvaro’s adventures. Viewers have been waiting for a very long time since Season 4 Episode 4 ended on a cliffhanger. Morgan finally decided to tell Karadec about her pregnancy. What will be his reaction? RSVP next fall on TF1.
