Spider-Man: What advice does Marvel Studios have for Venom and Morbius producers?

When Marvel Studios and Sony shared custody of Spider-Man, Kevin Feige had some advice for the producers of “Venom” and “Morbius” regarding their approach to the superhero.

If the characters that Fox had the rights to now belong to Marvel Studios since the Disney takeover, Sony still has a fight on its side thanks to its Spider-Man catalog. And that’s even if the deal allows Tom Holland’s Spider-Man to evolve into the MCU, where he’s already appeared six times.

With Sony unable to appear in his films, Sony has lined up some of his adversaries, namely Venom, star of the two opus, and Morbius, played by Jared Leto in this year’s feature film. And while Kraven starts filming and Madame Web starts filming soon, anklet It shows that Kevin Feige is very attentive to these products.

“Kevin Feige Gives His Thoughts and Thoughts on Sony Marvel’s Spider-Man Movies”we can read “An insider says Feige is leading Sony’s approach and has warned the studio not to rush into building an Avengers-style expanded universe.”

Given the post-credits scenes of Venom 2 and Morbius, some might think that advice hasn’t really been heard. And the article doesn’t specify whether Kevin Feige’s interventions date from before or after the release of these films. Maybe we’ll see a change in Kraven, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, which hits theaters on January 18, 2023.
