The Union of Artists and Technicians of Entertainment Shows of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Satisfied-RJ), filed a complaint against the Netflix and the production company A Fábrica.
According to Notícias da TV, the organization accuses the streaming service and its placement partner cast of A part of me actors without professional registration and unapproved contracts.
The association claims that the companies have not respected the law 6533/78, which regulates the professions of artists and technicians in the entertainment sector.
There is a paragraph in the law that requires that the employment contract of such professionals be approved by Sated-RJ. According to the union, this has not been done.
Without naming names, the organization stressed that the companies hired unregistered actors.

In a post on Instagram, the Union said: “Non-targeted contracts are illegal and only receive attention when tragic work situations occur. What is the point of producing the soap opera, which debuts in streaming, and A Fábrica ea Netflix does not respect laws?”.
“Sated-RJ repudiates the production company A Fábrica and Netflix, which prioritize profit at all costs to the detriment of respect for art workers, and reaffirms its commitment to defending artists’ rights“, he concluded.
