Shogun and The Bear lead the 2024 Emmy nominations; Check out the full list of nominees for the award, which takes place on September 15
On Wednesday (17), the nominees for the 76th edition of the Emmy Awards, the biggest television award in the United States, were revealed. As expected, series like Shogun: The Glorious Saga of Japan AND The bear led the nominations, with Japanese drama receiving 25 nominations and food production appearing close behind, with 23.
Other titles such as Little reindeerfrom the Netflix, The morning showFrom Apple TV+ and FallFrom Amazon Prime Video, in an edition whose eligibility window was from June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024.
In practice, this means that productions broadcast after this period, such as the second season of The House of the Dragonreleased on June 16 on HBO and Max -, are not eligible for the edition and will only be eligible for nominations next year.

The 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on September 15 at the Peacock Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, California, and will be the second “Emmy of the Year” as 2023 ceremony delayed due to the Hollywood actors and screenwriters strike and took place in January 2024.
