The actions in favor of institutions serving children and young people began last Wednesday (17), in the match against Vitória
In favor of the social institutions that collaborate with Fortaleza, the club will auction the objects used in the match last Wednesday (17), against Vitória, for the Brazilian championship. Among the objects that will be auctioned are the shirts worn by the players, the captain’s armband and the game ball, all objects autographed by the athletes.
Another social action was carried out during the game. Fortaleza received 100 pairs of football boots that will be donated to the Associação Falcões da Vila, a social project in the capital of Ceará that serves children and youth from 5 to 15 years old, offering education through football. On this occasion, 25 children assisted by the project had the opportunity to welcome the athletes and take a guided tour of the Arena Castelão.
“It’s a special moment for Bem Tricolor. First, yesterday afternoon we launched the Calçado Vidas project, which will collect shoes to donate to Leão’s partner institutions in need. Next, we made a special game with objects that will become special and go directly to charity auctions, in addition to marking our partnership with Doe Gols by naming one of the corner flags with the name of this beautiful and essential project that helps many families in need throughout Brazil”said Thiago Fujita, head of the Social Responsibility department of Fortaleza.
The actions are coordinated by the Well, Tricolorethe social arm of the club, in collaboration with the project Donate goalsdesigned to help put shoes on children and adolescents who live in places without basic sanitation and are vulnerable to diseases resulting from contaminated soil.
Throughout the Brazilian men’s and women’s championship, for every goal scored in Serie A, the Doe Goals project donates three pairs of soccer shoes to children in social institutions throughout Brazil. In addition to the donations, other activations are underway with the clubs competing in the competition.
