Disclosure of Jablonec

Brazilian midfielder Dudu Nardini, recently signed from Jablonec, is set to make his debut in the Czech league this weekend. Coming from Othellos Athienou in Cyprus, Dudu shared his impressions and expectations about the new stage of his career.

“The adaptation has been good. I have found people willing to help me and this makes everything much easier.

As for the club, which was only 12th last season, his impressions have been positive from the beginning,” Dudu said, underlining the receptivity he encountered:

“It’s an organised club focused on achieving seasonal goals.”

Regarding the differences between Czech and Cypriot football, Dudu highlighted the physical aspect of the game. “The big difference is physical, a more intense game, but with a lot of transitions compared to Cyprus,” he explained. This adaptation to the more dynamic and demanding style of play was one of the focuses of his training.

Dudu Nardini and butterflies in the stomach

Dudu Nardini will take to the field this Saturday in the opening match of the Czech championship, facing Mlada at 9:30 (Brasilia time). He says it is always a thrill to debut in a new club:

“It’s special, but it gives me butterflies in my stomach. However, I’ve been working constantly since I arrived. So I’m sure that God will help me,” said this 26-year-old from São Paulo, an American who, in Brazil, defended, among other teams, Tupi de Juiz de Fora.

The Czech championship will start this Friday (19/7), with the opening match between current two-time champions Sparta Prague and Pardubice, at 14:00 (Brasilia time).
