The series derived from the universe of Dune will debut later this year. The story is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. Fan expectations are high and Max has just released a new teaser Dune: The Prophecy.
A prelude to Denis Villeneuve’s films, the series is a partnership between Max and Legendary. Dune: The Prophecy tells the story of the Harkonnen Sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and found the legendary sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.
Actress Jessica Barden, nominated for a British Independent Film Award (BIFA) in the Best Supporting Actress category, will play the ambitious, headstrong and energetic young woman Valya Harkonnem, who dreams of restoring her family’s noble status. But when tragedy shatters her plans, she finds herself on a new path that leads her to the Brotherhood.
Also featured are Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Johdi May, Mark Strong, Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Josh Heuston, Chloe Lea, Jade Anouka, Faoileann Cunningham, Edward Davis, Aoife Hinds, Tabu, Chris Mason and Shalom Brune-Franklin . the cast.
