San Paolo players bring their children to training; Calleri remains doubtful

Friday’s activity was relaxed, with the players’ families present. The striker has no confirmed presence against Juventude

The victory over Grêmio, last Wednesday, brought tranquility back to São Paulo. And this atmosphere was also seen in training this Friday (19), when the Tricolor players brought their children, on vacation from school, to follow the activities at Barra Funda CT.

Striker Calleri participated in training with his teammates who started against Imortal. However, the Argentine remains doubtful for Sunday’s duel, at 18:30 (Brasilia time), against Juventude, at the Mané Garrincha stadium. After all, he felt pain in the back of his right thigh against Grêmio.

While they can still hope to count on top scorer Calleri, Luiz Zubeldía will have problems on the wings. After all, Igor Vinicius and Welington are suspended and will not face Jaconero.

Another one who is missing is Alisson. The midfielder underwent surgery on his right ankle last Thursday (18). The injury occurred in the second half of the match against Grêmio. On that occasion, the player tried to recover a ball in defense and got stuck on the pitch with his right foot. As soon as he fell, he felt pain and his teammates asked to be substituted. He then left the pitch and went to a nearby hospital for tests, which confirmed the fracture.

Sao Paulo will therefore have to take the field with the following formation: Rafael, Rafinha, Arboleda, Alan Franco and Patryck; Luiz Gustavo, Bobadilla and Luciano; Lucas, André Silva (Calleri) and Ferreira.
