CBF President Begins Series of Meetings at FIFA in Paris

On Monday Ednaldo Rodrigues met Gianni Infantino and other authorities

Ednaldo Rodrigues, president of the CBF, began this Monday (22), a series of meetings at FIFA headquarters in Paris, France. Together with Gianni Infantino, president of the highest governing body of world football, he discussed, among other topics, initiatives for the benefit of Brazilian football.

“The meetings at FIFA were very productive. We discussed several strategic projects of the entity. From tomorrow we will discuss other initiatives that will directly benefit Brazilian football,” Ednaldo Rodrigues said on the official CBF website.

“This series of matches demonstrates the harmony between FIFA and the CBF in favour of excellent, modern and fair football,” he added.

The agenda of the Brazilian president, in fact, who also met with representatives of the National Associations participating in the Olympics, includes meetings with Infantino until Wednesday.

Tuesday meeting

The next order of business will be the debate on funding programs for the development of grassroots football and refereeing. In addition, new initiatives to combat racism and all forms of discrimination in sport will also be discussed.

On the last day of the meeting, in fact, Ednaldo Rodrigues will delve into the details of the organization of the 2027 Women’s World Cup, which will take place in Brazil.
