Gen V | Boys Spin-Off Gets New Season in 2025


Amazon MGM Studios’ head of television Vernon Sanders says Gen V’s second season is expected to premiere in 2025, before the final episodes of The Boys

The fifth and final season of The boys The premiere is scheduled for 2026, but fans of the universe based on Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s comics won’t be left without the show until then. The head of television at Amazon MGM Studios’ Vernon Sanders said that the second season of Gen V is expected to debut next year, before the final episodes of the original title.



Sanders shared the news with The Wrap in an interview the executive gave about the future of the production company. When asked about the spinoff, which takes place at a superhero college, the executive was very excited about the show’s second year.

“Season 2 is turning out to be really strong. They’ve had their struggles, obviously, with the loss of Chance, but ultimately I think all the fans of The Boys are going to really love this second season and stay tuned to see if there’s more,” Sanders said.

The loss the president is referring to is the death of British actor Chance Perdomo, who played the character of Andre Anderson, who died in March this year, aged 27, following a motorbike accident.

One of the series’ main characters, the character’s future has yet to be revealed, but developments in his story are expected to be one of the highlights of the show’s second year.

A sneak peek at the second season recordings of Gen V It was shared by the series’ official page on X (previously Twitter) on 15. In the picture you can see the actress Jaz Sinclair, who brings to life the character of Marie Moreau, behind the scenes of the production.

According to Vernon Sanders, however, the derivative has already been registered “for several weeks, probably a month or two,” which explains the release window for next year only.
