Open to the public since June 16, France’s first immersive cinema invites viewers to immerse themselves in Terminator 2: The Last Judgment. We experienced No Fate for an extraordinary evening at the heart of the iconic film.

It was in Montreuil, at the foot of Tour Orion, that we were met for a trip down memory lane. Until April 2023, one hundred participants can purchase 4 times a week a unique concept with 700m² of decor created by film and theater professionals, imagined by the start-up Dream Factory.

Dive into the world of cinema

We have just arrived at the headquarters of the Paris resistance, we are introduced to a squad of soldiers. They entrust us with a nickname and a secret role to maintain during the experience. Our Mission: Witness the events that lead Sarah Connor, her son John and the T-800 to confront the terrifying T-1000 in 1995, two years before the nuclear apocalypse.

Manu Militar takes us through a temporary corridor into a larger-than-life environment inspired by the iconic Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Twenty actors, all stunning, lead us through interactive sketches. Participants are encouraged to follow their instincts and improvise their own scenarios on the spot, or even share their experiences to compare.

We decided to take a personality test at the Pescadero Psychiatric Hospital, then contribute to the design of a revolutionary artificial intelligence at the Cyberdyne offices… don’t forget to grab a drink at the biker bar, accompanied. Street Fighter game on a retro arcade machine. Since everyone chooses their own program, the possibilities are endless!

By allowing yourself to get carried away with the small details of the acting and performances, all sense of time is lost very quickly and the immersion is complete.

Terminator 2 in front of us

Suddenly there’s a flash of lightning and it’s the T-800 that makes a sensational entrance to the delight of moviegoers. Arnold Schwarzenegger may not be, but the actor’s build might make us believe otherwise!

We enter the second phase of the narrative, where all the little stories we’ve witnessed come together to form one big one. Events follow each other, just inches from the stunned audience. From scene to scene, the tension builds to a crescendo, impressive stunts and iconic lines, until the epic final showdown…

Fans like neophytes, young and old, the community is embracing the concept. We come out starry-eyed… and wanting more!
