Plus belle la vie: Which castle is the party at in Friday’s July 26 episode?

Since its launch in January 2024, Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle has always wanted to highlight the grand landscapes of the region around Marseille. The continuation of the France 3 soap opera decided to leave the Belle de Mai studios to film most of its intrigues in natural settings.

Last March, the producer even set up cameras on the island of Degabe, located off the coast of Marseille, to film the plot around Lea and Ulysses. And it looks like the production is keen to continue taking advantage of the region’s treasures.

A grand castle

The episode of Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful this Friday, July 26, before the last two-week summer break due to the Paris 2024 games, is the scene of a charity event organized by Léa.

For the occasion, large numbers of Mistralians flock to the magnificent castle gardens to attend an exhibition of the works of the famous sculptor, Damien Garec.

Unfortunately, things will not go as planned and many unforeseen events will occur on this day, leading up to the final cliffhanger that will surprise more than one person.

Where was the episode filmed?

The 144th scenes of Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle episode were filmed in the gardens of Chateau de Forbin. Located in Marseille, this 18th-century aristocratic residence is in the Calanques de Cassis National Park.

A huge castle is at the heart of the seven-acre property, and the property also includes a swimming pool, which is unfortunately not seen on screen.

This former hunting lodge was acquired by Guillaume Forbin in the 15th century. Over the years, the Forbin family, which grew rich through trade, became one of the most influential families in Provence.

Therefore, it was in this historical setting that the episode of Plus belle la vie, even plus belle, broadcast this Friday, July 26, was filmed.
