In the film directed by Coralie Fargeat, Margaret Qualley plays a younger version of Demi Moore’s character
THE MUBI and the Image Movies released this Thursday, the 15th, the full trailer for the new film Coralie Fargeat, The Substancestarring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley and Dennis Quaid.
The feature film had its world premiere at 77th Cannes Film Festivalwhere he won the award for Best Screenplay and received an 11-minute standing ovation. The Substance hits Brazilian cinemas on September 19, 2024.
Demi Moore plays Elisabeth Sparkle, a former celebrity who is past her prime and is suddenly fired from her television show by the repulsive studio boss, Harvey (Dennis Quaid).
She is then drawn to the opportunity presented by a mysterious new drug: THE SUBSTANCE. One injection and she is reborn — temporarily — as the stunning Sue, a young woman in her early twenties (Margaret Qualley).
