One of the most successful series on North American TV, Lostpremieres on Netflix starting this Thursday, August 15. The six seasons of the series, which turns 20 in September, are now available in the streaming platform’s catalog.
Created by JJ Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Jeffrey Lieber (Impulse) and Damon Lindelof (The Leftovers), Lost tells the story of the survivors of a plane crash on an island in the middle of nowhere. While waiting to be rescued, they discover that the place is not as ordinary as it seems and hides unimaginable secrets.
Matthew Fox (Speed Racer), Evangeline Lilly (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania), Josh Holloway (Yellowstone), Jorge Garcia (Hawaii Five-O), Naveen Andrews (Sense8), Daniel Dae Kim (Avatar: The Last Airbender), Yunjin Kim (Money Heist: Korea), Terry O’Quinn (The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live), Dominic Monaghan (The Lord of the Rings), Harold Perrineau (Origin), Maggie Grace (Fear the Walking Dead), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), Emilie de Ravin (Once Upon a Time) and the Brazilian Rodrigo Santoro (Good morning, Veronica.) are some of the names in the series’ cast.
Lost premiered on September 22, 2004 and immediately won over audiences and critics, winning the Emmy for Best Drama Series the following year. In total, the production had 121 episodes and ended on May 23, 2010.
