Knives Out 3 Wraps Filming, Announces Rian Johnson

Creator, screenwriter and director of the franchise Between Knives and Secrets, Rian John announced the end of filming for the third film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mysterywhich brings Daniel Craig (007 – No Time to Die) again as the detective Benoit Blanc in an unprecedented adventure.

“It’s the end of Wake Up Dead Man. It went so fast! Best crew, amazing cast, this was a really special shoot and I can’t wait to put it together”he wrote on social media. Check it out:

What we already know about Wake Up Dead Man?

Sequence of Between Knives and Secrets(2019) and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery(2022), Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery (Wake Up, Dead Man: A Knives Out Mysteryin free translation) is scheduled to arrive on Netflix in 2025, as part of a $450 million deal struck after the success of the first film.

What is it about? Between Knives and Secrets?

Nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, Between Knives and Secrets shows the detective Benoit Blanc solving the mysterious death of the patriarch of an eccentric and conflicted family. Names Chris Evans (Avengers: Endgame), Anna of Armas (Blonde), Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere at Once), Christopher Plummer (All the Money in the World), Toni Collette (The Power) and Michael Shannon (The Flash) are in the cast of the film.

AND Glass Onion?

In the second film, White is invited to participate in a detective game, hosted by a bored millionaire. However, when a murder actually happens during the game, things get out of control and the detective must put his skills to use.

First part of the million-dollar deal with Netflix, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery has names like Edward Norton (Asteroid City), Kate Hudson (Almost Famous), Dave Bautista (Army of the Dead: Invasion of Las Vegas), Janelle Monae (Hidden Figures), Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision), Leslie Odom Jr. (One Night in Miami…), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist) and Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks).
